We can administer your estate if you have named the Public Trustee as executor in your Will.

We will administer your estate impartially and make sure the wishes expressed in your Will are carried out.

Public Trustee can also act as administrator in certain circumstances.

The first step will usually involve talking with all the beneficiaries to go through the different parts of the estate.

Fees and charges

We do charge fees for administering deceased estates where we assume financial and legal responsibility for assets until they are distributed to the beneficiaries named in your Will.

Regardless of who administers a deceased estate, there will be charges applied by other organisations involved in the process.

See our fees and charges for more details.
